24: Laughter Therapy: How to play and laugh about everything in your life that isn’t really funny.

Join me today to learn more about the joy of Laughter Therapy.  We are taught by our culture to take problems head on.  To take our concerns seriously so they get solved.  Children laugh and play with their problems.  They consider many possibilities and are open to ideas and fun.  Einstein said ” I play with ideas”  Boy did he ever.  What if we took our tension, stress or problems and considered adding a little laughter to them.  What would be possible if we stepped back from our worries and got a larger vision through play.  What if we could giggle and release the pressure of everything that is weighing on us.  Laughter gets us out of the lower constricted brain and helps us raise up into our higher functioning brain.  In the higher brain there are more solutions to our problems.  I dare you to laugh at things in your life that are not that funny today.  Grins and laughter.

23: Carrying the Divine Child to Egypt, a way to practice self-compassion:

Each one of us is a Divine Child of God and worthy of safety, love, compassion and belonging.  There are times in our live where we need to to walk ourselves our of Israel and away from the Herod’s in our live.  By practicing self compassion we step away from toxic relationships and honor our need to be safe and be nurtured.

In this class you will practice the art of Laughter Meditation and the power of play.  When you practice laughter meditation stress is relieved, healing spontaneously happens and possibilities open up.  Through joyful laughter you rise out of your lower brain and tap into the higher brain.  In higher brain functioning see more choices, you gain more energy and fun.  It’s easy to add laughter to life.  Up level your game and power up on joy, play and all around have fun.  Meditation creates space between yourself and your concerns.  By adding this practice you cultivate greater capacity to observe your problems, negative emotions and stressors. You learn to live life from Joy and Gratitude.

In Today’s episode I teach the present moment practice of the Remembering Breath. Our minds are trained to live continually in the past or future. In the past we cherish what has come before, wishing it was the good ol’ days again or dwell on an event that caused pain. Modern culture chants the mantra of more is better, never settle, go,go,go. The future beckons us to fantasize or worry about goals, promises, or just making money. Interestingly, what fills some of our deepest needs and desire like contentment, belonging, peace, happiness, and deep love are experienced in the present moment. Every meaningful thing unfolds in the present moment and most of us are so entranced by the past and future that we miss the majority of what is happening here and now. I invite you to practice being alive in the present moment with this simple tool of the Remembering breath.
